How important is self-improvement and how does your religion (or lack of) contribute to it?
I didn’t get many answers last time:
Do you view too much self-improvement and individualism as selfish or “secular”? If so what would you much rather do?
How does your religion or lack of contribute to your views on that (if at all)?

Concern for improvement should be for the benefit of all, not just ones self.

Not being religious, I don’t wait for some god to improve me, I either improve myself or accept full blame for not doing so.
